ESPN Deal Brings ESPN 3D, Streaming to Verizon FiOS

Verizon said Thursday that the company has signed a deal with Disney and ESPN that will bring ESPN's 3D network, ESPN 3D, to Verizon FiOS subscribers next year. The deal was part of a contract renewal that will also add ESPN Goal Line, ESPN 3D, Disney Junior, mobile programming and live online streaming of several ESPN networks, the companies said.

Neil Schneider from MTBS3D did another interview with Andrew Fear, the product manager for 3D Vision at Nvidia for during the 3D Entertainment Summit. This time Andrew and Neil talk about the Asus ET2400 all-in-one PC with 3D Vision support (expected to be available very soon) as well as the 3D Vision Live website using Microsoft's Silverlight for stereo 3D video streaming being demoed.

First Impressions From the Nvidia 3DTV Play Software

Last week I was able to see a live demonstration of the Nvidia 3DTV Play in action. The software was running on Sony 3D and Panasonic 3D HDTVs and demonstrated on them was playing games in stereoscopic 3D mode as well as Blu-ray 3D movie playback using PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II. Modifying the 3D Vision Glasses to Show 2D Left or Right Frame Only

Modifying the 3D Vision glasses to show only left or only right frame for bot eyes turning them into a 3D to 2D glasses when watching 3D content, but this can also be used as a solution for screen sharing between two different people.

3D Vision Pro Announced, Only for Professional Users with Quadro

There was a lot of talk and rumors going around about a new version of the 3D Vision glasses being worked on by Nvidia, and apparently these were all true as Nvidia today announced officially 3D Vision Pro. However these glasses are intended only for professional users that also have Quadro cards and are not intended and will not work with GeForce GPUs, at least for now...
