    Here are some stereoscopic 3D screenshots from a mobile stereo 3D game and more specifically the game Asphalt 6: Adrenaline 3D by Gameloft on the LG Optimus 3D smartphone. The screenshots are with three different 3D volume levels – minimum, medium and maximum as all of Gameloft's stereoscopic 3D games have a slider for user control of the three-dimensional depth.

    Here are a few stereoscopic 3D trailers for games that are bundled with the LG Optimus 3D P920 smartphone - Asphalt 6: Adrenaline 3D, Let's Golf! 2 3D, Nova 3D. They are available on YouTube 3D as well as for downloading in MP4 format (Side by Side, half horizontal resolution).

    The LG Optimus 3D smartphone can record stereoscopic 3D video in 720p squashed Side by Side format (the two frames are fitted in a single 1280x720 frame) although in 2D mode it is able to record video in Full HD resolution. Here you can see and embedded sample video recorded with the phone on YouTube 3D or download it to your PC.

    Here is a small gallery with 17 stereo 3D photos of RC cars taken with the LG Optimus 3D P920 smartphone. The photos are uploaded in a gallery on the 3D Vision Live website, so you can easily preview them online if you have a 3D Vision PC or a pair of anaglyph 3D glasses. The photos are not edited, they are uploaded right the way the camera of the phone recorded them.

    Hands-On with the LG Optimus 3D

    The availability of 3D content is a big issue at the moment so the justification for purchasing a 3D device is, simply put, a way to future proof yourself. Content is however, on an express train to Delivery-town so the wait is not going to be too long. Thus 3D fans will be happy to know that LG's Optimus 3D smartphone is on its way and should be here in soon...

    3D HTC smartphone launching within months

    HTC will launch a smartphone with a 3D screen before the end of the year, possibly earlier. The move is in direct response to the LG Optimus 3D, which received plaudits at this year's Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, in February. According to multiple sources we've been talking with over the last couple of weeks, the new device will be "lighter, thinner and cheaper than the Optimus 3D".

    LG's 3D mobile phone, the Optimus 3D, has been further leaked in a new online video. The handset, which is expected to be the first mainstream 3D phone, is not set to be unveiled until 14 February at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona, but LG's promotion for the new device has included a range of "leaks" giving potential customers a glimpse of the handset.

    LG's "Into the New Dimension" event is scheduled for February 14, but Phandroid has gotten a hold of an image that is purported to be the LG Optimus 3D. Although a 3D display can't be confirmed by the picture, we can determine that this device is not the LG Optimus 2X or LG Optimus Black.

    TI teased a major performance boost for smartphones and tablets today by unveiling the OMAP 4440. The design uses a dual-core, up to 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor at its heart, already representing a leap. It marks a 50 percent overall speed boost over current chips and is fast to enable 3D video, even in 1080p, and 3D photos from two 12-megapixel cameras.

    Sharp LYNX Glasses-Free 3D Android Phone Introduced in Japan (Video)

    Sharp has again made a show of its abilities to bring out 3D displays by introducing the LYNX 3D SH-03C in Japan. The device has been launched on the Japanese carrier NTT Docomo. You might already know that Sharp churned out two glasses-free 3D smartphones earlier with the Softbank carrier. The 3.8 inch glasses-free 3D effect display is one of the top rated 3D displays from Sharp.
