    New Square Enix RPG Announced for 3DS

    Bravely Default: Flying Fairy from Square Enix is the latest RPG announced for the Nintendo 3DS. A brief announcement trailer shown during the Nintendo 3DS Confernece 2011 today featured a boy on a sailboat and a battle with a giant golem. Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is scheduled for a 2012 release.

    New Hatsune Miku Game Announced For Nintendo 3DS

    Sega have announced a brand new Hatsune Miku game being developed specifically for the Nintendo 3DS. Dubbed Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai, it's a rhythm game complete with 3D visuals as well as a neat surprise. Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai features the popular Vocaloid idol in her Nendo form. The game is scheduled for a March 2012 release in Japan.

    Seeking to boost the number of female gamers using its 3DS handheld, Nintendo has unveiled a pink version of the gaming device. The company announced Tuesday it would release the "misty pink" Nintendo 3DS on October 20th in a bid to boost the device's number of female users.

    Nintendo 3DS Will Get 3D Video Recording in Time for the Holidays

    It is not something we did not expect, but Nintendo has officially announced that this November a new system update for the portable Nintendo 3DS game console will enable the capturing of 3D video footage. So with the 3D camera of the portable 3D console you will soon be able to shoot not only 3D pictures, but also record 3D video and then preview it on the device’s autostereoscopic 3D display.

    Nintendo has confirmed buoyant sales of the 3DS after the glasses-free 3D handheld saw a significant price slash on August 12. According to NPD Group's figures, US sales of the Nintendo 3DS surged by over 260-percent following the reduction, in comparison to the previous 19 day period: that amounts to around 185,000 units.
