LG's Dual Play Feature to be Available on LG Cinema 3D HDTVs

At the IFA trade show LG is all about 3D technology, however one of the interesting features they are demonstrating seems to be getting less attention that in deserves. LG's Dual Play feature that they are showing with a racing game and Xbox 360 console – essentially using the 3D features of the LG Cinema 3D TVs to show two different views in 2D to two persons in multiplayer mode.

LG's PenTouch TV launches in the US

LG announced a week ago that it will start selling its PenTouch HDTVs in the US. There will three models available, a 50 incher as well as two 60-inch versions. The higher-end 60-inch panel even comes with the THX 3D and 2D certification standard. The three TVs, the 50PV490, 60PV490 and 3D-capable 60PZ850 cost US$1,099, US$1,699 and US$2,199 respectively in the US.
